TKDA names Jeff Lipovetz VP of Facilities Engineering Division
TKDA, an employee-owned provider of engineering, architecture, and planning services, has named Jeff Lipovetz as the firm’s new vice president of the Facilities Engineering Division.
Formerly TKDA’s mining market manager, Lipovetz brings nearly 30 years of experience in management, supervision, and technical applications. He has worked in the United States, Canada, and South America, and has held positions in technical design as well as senior leadership, including as general manager and vice president.
“Jeff brings a strong management skill set and business perspective to this position,” said Bill Deitner, president and CEO of TKDA. “In his time here at TKDA, he has successfully grown our mining division and he will use that same strategic market expertise to lead the Facilities Engineering Division.”
Lipovetz will take over as head of the division from Tom Stoneburner, PE, LEED AP, who will become president and CEO of TKDA in April when Deitner retires.
A native of Hibbing, Minn., Lipovetz holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering science from Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the Facilities Engineering Division,” Lipovetz said. “TKDA is poised to leverage 108 years of great service into significant business growth and I am very excited to be a part of that future.”
