Bernie Bullert Rejoins TKDA’s Municipal Division

Bernie Bullert, PE, is rejoining TKDA’s Municipal Division as a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer.

Bullert is a well-known and respected leader in the regional and national water/wastewater engineering field. He worked for Saint Paul Regional Water Services for 35 years, 12 of those as general manager for the utility that serves more than 400,000 people. He recently served as Director of Water Treatment and Distribution Services for the City of Minneapolis and during his tenure managed an annual $75 million budget, improved drinking water quality and reduced water losses within the system. For several years, Bullert also served as Group Manager of TKDA’s Water/Wastewater Division.

At TKDA, Bullert will provide consulting services for utility management, planning, operations and capital improvements. He will also provide quality assurance for plans and specifications, as well as constructability and operability review for utility clients.
