Engineering and architecture firms are built not only on the quality of services they provide, but on the lasting relationships they create. For decades, TKDA has worked closely with the project managers and purchasing department of a major international food and beverage company. In addition to our design skills, we bring a very personal, client-focused responsiveness—whether responding to a weekend emergency or carefully assembling a tailored project team.
TKDA began working with the company on additions and upgrades to their Minnesota food processing facilities in 1978. Offering the efficiency and flexibility of multidiscipline services, our work gradually expanded across the company. Today, we are a preferred vendor and have provided design services at 30 of their 33 facilities nationwide.
As with all of our food processing clients, this company employs very competent process engineers and facility managers. Acting as an extension of their in-house services, TKDA is a design resource for assessing, maintaining, altering, or expanding company facilities and infrastructure. Hundreds of projects have been led by a handful of TKDA staff while incorporating professionals from nearly all of our divisions. These focused team leaders—and the relationships they form—reinforce our personal commitment to the company. It also strengthens our general understanding of the food processing business and operations, particularly the critical importance of schedules, timing, and shutdowns. This knowledge and dedication has made TKDA not only a better problem solver, but a more effective and trusted advisor.
