We are excited to announce the promotion of Matt Wassman to Water Resources Group Manager. Since joining TKDA in 1995, Matt brings over 30 years of experience delivering water resources solutions for surface transportation, rail, aviation, and manufacturing. Valued for his technical expertise, leadership, and collaborative mindset, he has advanced complex projects while mentoring and supporting various teams.

“Matt’s depth of experience, thoughtful leadership, and commitment to collaboration make him the right person to guide our Water Resources practice forward,” said Matt Christensen, Surface Transportation Vice President. “His impact on our projects and people has been significant, and we’re excited to see him step into this role.”

Among his notable contributions, Matt served as the Lead Hydraulics Engineer for the Minnesota Department of Transportation Twin Ports Interchange project in Duluth, MN. This project is one of the region’s most complex transportation reconstruction efforts. His ability to navigate technical challenges while maintaining strong client and team relationships has consistently set him apart and has prepared him for this promotion. In his new role, Matt will focus on team development and the continued growth of our water resources group, with an emphasis on delivering innovative solutions and fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.
