Sound Transit Eastlink 320-360

TKDA* provided Surveying Quality Control and Construction Management covering the 0.5-mile tunnel under downtown Bellevue, tunnel portals, four light rail stations, and aerial guideway across I-405 for the E-320 to 360 segments of the work. Our survey crews checked for discrepancies in the contractor’s survey control and reconciled the information with Sound Transit and its contractor to ensure the construction staking met the project-specified tolerances. They were frequently called upon to verify contractor progress and provide topographical and utility as-built information for use in design and design changes.
