At the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the G Concourse Apron, Taxiway B, and passenger boarding bridge areas needed reconstruction after years of heavy use by wide-body aircraft. TKDA provided design and construction administration services for the improvements while helping the airport maintain full and continuous operation throughout construction. The project also presented an opportunity to modernize the facility and prepare for current and future aircraft and future fleet expansions. In addition, the improvements were designed to accommodate a planned future concourse expansion, helping the Metropolitan Airports Commission maximize long-term value from its investment.
