Metro Transit LRT Operations and Maintenance Facility Expansion

To support additional Green Line vehicles and the Blue Line’s transition from two-car to three-car trains, Metro Transit needed more space to store, service, and manage its light rail fleet. TKDA expanded the Hiawatha Light Rail Operations and Maintenance Facility to provide the capacity and specialized infrastructure required for these evolving operational needs.
