Zitzow Joins TKDA Aviation Team

Matthew Zitzow

Matthew Zitzow, PE, has joined TKDA’s Saint Paul office as a Senior Registered Engineer in the Aviation Division.

Zitzow has over 12 years of civil engineering experience, and has provided airport design and project management services for the Metropolitan Airports Commission’s (MAC) six reliever airports, as well as Cambridge, Mora and Forest Lake Municipal Airports. He is knowledgeable in FAA and MnDOT funding and grant processes; runway, taxiway, and apron design; and airport visual aids systems. His experience also includes site development, stormwater management, and public utilities design.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University (2002). At TKDA, Zitzow will continue serving Minnesota airports as well as assist with work for national clients, focusing on project efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and airfield safety programs.
