TKDA adding staff across the company

TKDA, an employee-owned provider of engineering, architecture, and planning services, has recently hired several new employees to handle expanded workloads across its multiple divisions.

Patrick Ahern has design and surveying experience on multiple highway and municipal projects. He received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and has joined the Surface Transportation Division.

Owen Curtiss, a recent addition to the Facilities Engineering Division, has expertise in the fields of controls, power, signals, and systems. He received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Montana State University.

Chase Fjelstad, an architectural graduate, has joined the Architecture Division in TKDA’s Northland office in Duluth. He holds Bachelor of Architecture and Masters of Architecture degrees from North Dakota State University.

Toshiya Isomura joined the electrical group in the Facilities Engineering Division. He received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Katie Jurenka, a GIS analyst, graduated from Macalester College with a Bachelor of Arts in geography and has joined the Aviation Division.

Clayton Kruger graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and holds a certificate in computer science. He brings his experience with multiple software programs to the Facilities Engineering Division.

Huy Le has joined the Municipal Division. He has Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with an environmental emphasis in water/wastewater treatment.

Derek Nadeau, a graduate from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, has joined the Aviation Division.

Robert Rudin, a new member of the Surface Transportation Division, received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and minored in chemistry.

Nghi Tran has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She brings experience in power plant operations and stream distribution systems to the Facilities Engineering Division.
