TKDA performed multi-disciplinary engineering analysis of aging operating facility

With a 40-year-old operating plant, a North American taconite pellet producer needed to look for potential solutions to improve efficiency and production. TKDA performed an infrastructure analysis of the aging facility. Our work included an evaluation of structural, electrical, and mechanical systems of the building structures and the physical plant. The project scope also called for analysis of the process input delivery systems and the operating equipment and balance of plant systems. Drawing on extensive industrial facilities experience, we provided a thorough analysis of the current state of the facility and assisted the Client to develop a long-range plan for the future.
