Victorville Bridge

To support safe, reliable freight movement through Southern California, BNSF Railway replaced two aging single-track bridges crossing the Mojave River in Victorville with a new double-track structure designed to meet current and future operational needs. The original bridges, some with components more than a century old, had served the corridor through decades of rail traffic, high river flows, and seismic activity. The new crossing enhances capacity, improves long-term reliability, and strengthens a critical freight route that supports regional and national commerce.
