As the second busiest airport in Minnesota, Mankato Regional Airport needed improvements to keep pace with increasing activity driven by the growth of the aviation program at Minnesota State University Mankato. With more than 127,000 annual flight operations, the airport required upgrades that would improve operational flow, increase airfield capacity, and support continued growth. TKDA partnered with the City of Mankato to provide planning, design, and construction administration services for a multi-year improvement program focused on enhancing the efficiency and functionality of the airfield.
