Forest Lake Unbonded Overlay and Bridges Design-Build

The Forest Lake Unbonded Overlay and Bridges Design-Build project improved pavement, bridges, drainage, and interchange operations at the northern junction of I-35W and I-35E. TKDA served as lead designer for the Shafer Design-Build Team on the MnDOT project, which included 5.5 miles of unbonded concrete overlay and full-depth pavement reconstruction, drainage improvements, reconstruction of four bridges, and reconfiguration of two interchanges, including a Diverging Diamond Interchange.
