Elk Run Design-Build

The Elk Run Interchange Design-Build project introduced a new TH 52 interchange designed to support regional access and nearby development in Pine Island and Oronoco. As Design Lead for the Shafer Contracting Co. Design-Build Team, TKDA designed a Diverging Diamond Interchange that was one of the first of its kind constructed in Minnesota and one of only a handful of DDIs in the country at the time. The interchange and connecting county roadway improvements supported the new Elk Run development.
