The firm has LEED accredited architects and engineers who are experienced in both the LEED building certification process and the State of Minnesota’s Buildings, Benchmarks & Beyond (B3) Guidelines. Our projects incorporate active and passive solar strategies, daylighting and daylighting controls, geothermal and solar-thermal heating. We also utilize photovoltaic arrays, fresh-air intake preheating, water reuse, vegetative roofs, efficient building orientation strategies and high-performance envelope, roof and glazing design. For projects of limited scope, we concentrate on high-efficiency mechanical, electrical and lighting systems and controls that offer the greatest impact for a reasonable cost. Our staff continually explores and researches the ever-changing options that allow for energy savings and sustainable designs that reflect our clients’ values of environmental stewardship.
