The Duluthian holds an Associates of Applied Science degree in architectural technology from Lake Superior College. He has a broad range of experience in both the public and private sectors across the Northland.
Engineering Specialist Nathan Graftaas, a Barnum native, completed his electrical apprenticeship after he graduated from Duluth Technical College with a commercial and residential wiring diploma. He has 18 years of experience in construction and project supervision as a journeyman electrician and lead foreman on numerous Northland educational, health care, sports, hospitality industry and industrial facilities.
Jeff Pape, PE, has seven years of experience in the design, inspection and assessment of commercial, recreational, institutional, industrial and mining structures, many of which are in the Northland. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering, both from the University of North Dakota.
Luke Zupan, PE, recently relocated to TKDA’s Duluth office from the firm’s Saint Paul office. The Grand Rapids native graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and has seven years of experience in designing mechanical and utility systems in corporate/industrial and educational facilities.
Last year, TKDA celebrated the expansion of its Northland office. The company’s in-house professional staff designed the new office floor plan to house a growing team of engineers, architects and support staff. “We are proud of our commitment to the Northland region and the quality staff we are able to attract,” said Tom Stoneburner, president and CEO of TKDA.
