John Berrigan Joins TKDA’s Municipal Division
John K. Berrigan Jr., PE, joined TKDA as Group Manager of Water/Wastewater in the Municipal Division.
Berrigan is a leader in the water/wastewater engineering field. He has been designing and managing projects for municipal clients in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and industrial clients in Minnesota and worldwide for more than 30 years. He collaborates with facility owners and regulators to provide practical and innovative solutions using a wide spectrum of treatment technologies.
Berrigan works with clients to provide insightful compliance strategy, alternatives analysis, facility planning, and technology selection and procurement. He has a proven track-record leading multi-office and multi-firm design teams and brings extensive experience in providing accurate cost estimating, resourceful value engineering, and strong bid management.
Berrigan has a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Mich., holds several U. S. Patents for water and wastewater treatment systems and components, and is the author of numerous articles on water treatment.

TKDA staff worked with Berrigan on the recently completed water treatment and storage project for the City of Mankato.
