Dan Shafer to Lead TKDA Finance Division

Dan Shafer has joined the firm as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

He comes to TKDA with 25-plus years of experience in the financial sector, and a track record of strengthening financial and operational performance, increasing cash flow, enhancing efficiencies, and improving profits.

“Dan brings a solid background in building financial strength through innovation and collaboration among multidisciplinary teams,” said President and CEO Tom Stoneburner. “We are very pleased to have him join TKDA as we continue to grow and diversify our business.”

Dan most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for Airworthy, Inc. of Hudson, Wisconsin. He has also held top financial leadership positions at Travel Tags, Inc., Pentair PLC Inc., Valspar Corp., and Ecolab.

Dan graduated magna cum laude from St. Cloud University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a graduate of Pentair’s executive development program. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
