CEAM Conference to Focus on Infrastructure Challenges and Solutions
Several members of the TKDA Municipal team will be sharing their expertise at this week’s City Engineers Association of Minnesota’s 2015 Annual Conference in Brooklyn Center.
On Wednesday, Brad Hammerquist, PE, senior registered engineer, will be part of the Trenchless Technologies Buffet session. He will discuss the applicability of the slip line pipe rehabilitation method and how TKDA designed slip linings with fiberglass reinforced pipe for 1.7 miles of the City of St. Cloud’s sewer interceptor system during the last year’s successful rehabilitation project. Our own Jim Studenski, PE, a senior registered engineer, will moderate this session.
On Thursday, Jim Studenski will moderate a session on MN 2050, with colleague Tom Eggum, a senior TKDA consultant, presenting on the efforts to educate Minnesotans on the importance of investing in public infrastructure. MN 2050 is an engineering-led effort that began in 2009 and this session update conference participants on the program’s impact, progress and ways to get involved.
