Acquisition Elevates Underground and Geotechnical Engineering Capabilities

We are excited to announce we have acquired CNA Consulting Engineers, a Minneapolis-based engineering firm specializing in underground and geotechnical engineering.

This strategic acquisition enhances and expands our technical capabilities in critical areas of infrastructure development by integrating the unique and leading expertise of the CNA team while also ensuring CNA employees and clients are well-positioned for continued success.

The acquisition expands TKDA’s portfolio nationwide across the markets we serve: industrial and manufacturing, transportation, buildings and sites, and water. CNA brings specialized expertise in disciplines that are critical to major infrastructure, transportation, and urban development projects.

TKDA and CNA share a long history of successful collaboration that includes Metropolitan Council Environmental Services, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the University of Minnesota, Metro Transit, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), and several private transportation and power companies. Going forward, both existing and new clients will benefit from our collaborative past and combined engineering expertise to deliver industry-leading results.
