Construction Project Manager

Our employee-owned and multi-disciplined team of engineering and design professionals is looking for a Construction Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing a major bridge reconstruction project. The individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including schedule, quality and safety.

Note: To be considered for this opportunity and to perform the assigned responsibilities, candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to complete and pass any background, security, and drug test requests required by TKDA, clients, and state and/or federal agencies.

Required Qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Construction Management or related field.
  • Fifteen (15)+ years of previous experience in construction project management.
  • Experience in construction inspection for large-scale, complex construction projects, including infrastructure and transportation projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend preconstruction, utility coordination, weekly progress, and weekly internal meetings.
  • Monitor work completed by the contractor.
  • Collect, review, record, and file all forms, submittals, reports, and certifications.
  • Work with the owner and contractor on resolving RFI’s, out-of-scope work, and claims.
  • Quantify work completed.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including daily logs, meeting minutes, and progress reports
  • Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to senior management and stakeholders
