TKDA Put Pacific Ethanol on Track to Become Leading Producer of Renewable Fuels

Based in Stockton, California, Pacific Ethanol has the goal of becoming the leading marketer and producer of low-carbon renewable fuels. To help them meet these goals, TKDA provided a wide range of ongoing facility engineering services during the boom in ethanol production.

TKDA provided design services and management of local design firms for ethanol transload facilities and plants in Oregon, California, and Idaho. During many of the projects, our services included mechanical, electrical, structural, site/civil facility design, rail planning, utility design, roadway, and facility design. To complete these projects, TKDA had to overcome many site challenges such as access, stormwater management, soil conditions, utility and railroad coordination, and work hour windows.
