TKDA designed taxiway reconstruction and pavement maintenance sealing of existing runway and apron pavements. Approximately 29,000 square yards of bituminous pavement was removed and replaced by a new pavement section of 10-inches of Portland cement concrete over a 12-inch crushed aggregate base. The new pavement was constructed on top of suitable existing subgrade material. Electrical work included the installation of directional signs, runway hold position signs, runway distance remaining signs, and select taxiway edge and threshold lights, along with the installation of an airport rotating beacon. Electrical conduit duct banks and corresponding airfield circuits were constructed beneath the new airfield taxiway pavements.
