TKDA was brought on to complete architectural design and oversee construction and functional restoration of the Beltrami County Historic Courthouse. Exterior restoration consisted of tuck pointing, washing the brick, and replacing the 30-year-old exterior windows with historically accurate, high-efficiency double-hung windows. The exterior renovation also included re-roofing the sloped shingle and pitched roofs and replacing the painted sheet metal dome with copper. Interior renovations included new offices and restorative treatment to common areas and stairways. The project also included a total HVAC upgrade. The Beltrami County Courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places.
