The picture shows the terminal area developed at Southwest Minnesota Regional Airport in Marshall, Minnesota. The work included new roadways, auto parking, arrival/departure building, hangars, apron pavement, and utilities. The construction was phased over two years and cost approximately $8 million. TKDA assisted with initial planning, overall layout, civil and electrical design, landscaping, and construction coordination.
AWARDS: 1997 – FAA/Governor’s Award; 2002 – Minnesota Council of Airports Project of the Year; 2002 – League of Minnesota Cities Award; 2003 – FAA/Governor’s Award; 2003 – City Engineers Association of Minnesota Award; 2008 – MSPE Merit Award
