The Anoka County Regional Railroad Authority is undertaking a project to eliminate Foley Boulevard's at-grade railroad crossing near the park-and-ride. A new bridge will carry Foley Boulevard over the railroad tracks, and the roadway will be raised from East River Road to near the park-and-ride. The project will include:

• Reconstruction of Foley Boulevard from East River Road to Coon Rapids Boulevard.
• A sidewalk or trail on both sides of Foley Boulevard.
• Retaining walls to minimize property impacts.

Project Schedule (Tentative)

• Preliminary Design ------------------------ Through November 2010
• Public Open House Meeting -------------- May 20, 2010
• Final Design ------------------------------- December 2010 to June 2011
• Right of Way Process --------------------- 6 to 12 months (pending funding)
